40 Chest Blackout!

Rules:

Basic - I will ask questions, you get a question right, you can break the lock on a chest and either open the chest, or give it to someone else. If you give it to someone else it will automatically count as opening 1 chest to the person you gave it to. In other words, you have to open the chest if someone gives it to you. There are some chests that will help you, or some that will just literally screw you over, alas, some contain nice prizes.

Nickname changing - Do not change your nick during the whole time of gameplay. If you change your nick and you have won something nothing will be credited to you and you will be disqualified. So find the nickname of your choice and keep it. Huge nicknames are not tolerated as well.

1) 1 player can only open a maximum amount of 5 chests (unless you hit a bonus chest) whether forced to or by decision.

Bonus Chests - As I mentioned above, there are bonus chests. There are a few different types.

Chest of the Halo - Allows you to raise your chest maximum up by 1.

Oceans' Eleven - Gives you another turn to open the chest of your choice.

Devil's Chant - Knocks out a player of your choice for 2 questions. This may be saved for anytime.

Phoenix Down - If you have been knocked out you may use this to revive yourself and you may answer the questions once again.

X-Ray of Govannon - Allows you to see what's in the chest of your choice. You may not unlock the chest at that time.

Negative Chests - These are the chests that can hurt you quite badly.

Evil Dievil's Trickery - Knocks the opener of the chest out for 2 questions.

Chest of the Demon - Decreases your chest maximum by 1.

Curse of Balor - Knocks the opener of the chest out for 3 questions.

Also, I am looking for feedback here. If you have any suggestions for items or a change of rules or just adding rules please post. :)

Doomsday has a game called Jumble that this game resembles... You answer a question if your right then you give the drink to someone or pick one yourself (six beers and some are bad) and if u get bad beer your out and if you get good beer u stay in...but this one is much more in depth that Jumble. Sounds like fun.

Too bad the event is done through Text and not throw visuals on levels with chests and demons coming out and pheonix's and all that *prays for level event like that*

Of course in the future there will be a level. Since debug is down I really can't talk to Stefan and get a level uploaded. Also, this game has probably been done before, but I thought of it on my own.

I must admit, this sounds very intresting, I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully you will at least write up a bunch of questions before hand.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to try and do that this time. (Stryker was supposed to hold that event) :)

I did pretty well for thinking those up in my head though for the amount of time it took.

Anyway, almost anyone will be a winner here, tons of prizes and the dwarven warhammer of might is in one of the chests. :)

Eventually there will be a level with chests and visuals so the players can have an actual feel for the game, it's going to be cool if it gets completed :O This version he held was just text, it was fun though but imagine a real level with monsters coming out of the chests or other things..it will be cool
