View Full Version : is the "/cast" command screwed or is it just me.
Because if I type "/cast spellname" it just asks "what spell". But if I type "/invoke spellname" it kills me.

Yes, unixmad and Er1c are working on casting right now since it is used for most spells.

Invoke doesn't work on all the spells.
Also invoke kills you, do you want that??

Cast is supposed to be used for offensive spells
Invoke is to be used for defensive/healing.
If you invoke a spell you are intended to cast, you kill yourself.
This could also make mages helpful to warriors if they cast defensive and healing spells on the warriors in battle.

not true, as i stated earlier, i can invoke icestorm and burning hands without dying, or even being hurt for that matter
but certain other, such as small lightning do kill me when i invoke them, either way, both commands are screwed one way or another
