Inventory!

So many things I see and want and can touch but can't have!

Swords in the snow town, just lying on the table...I can touch them, but I can't take them, why?
I mean, besides the obvious I didn't make it, why not have them be Wooden Swords, suitable for newbie defense?
And if we can get snowballs, why not carry around a few jars? They're heavy and clunky, but if you wanna take one with you, why not? Maybe the watering can can only hold so much, and pots increase the max while doubling the weight of the water or whatever.
Chests! Nothing opens them! Granted, I'm not expecting fabulous wealth through robbing strangers, but still - pickaxe, axe, pliers, sword, something should be able to break them open to find different clothes, a hat, something mundane...
Books! Books everywhere! And they're all - BLANK! At LEAST put something of minor interest in the open books on the tables! Like "Secrets of baking"...FAQ type stuff!

Yeah that peeves me as well.. Most of the indoor stuff has no use other than to sit there and look pretty.

I was suprised to see the windmill, water barrels, stove, and well's have uses though. Heck, even opening chests and finding nothing in them would be okay.

yea the windmill idea is fantatic... i mean.. at first i just tried to walk in and it wouldnt let me then i tried with corn above my head and vlola i got flour :P

A neet looking chest interface which makes it look astho your looking down into the chest looking at the content inside would be nice...opening books and having the same concept as the chest but with a book surrounding =)
