Maybe the people leaving realize that apart from the occasional posts the forum is one big reservoir of hate?
Although probably more because they realize that playing a game just for some non-existing money is a tad bit stupid.

people leave graal when their friends on graal slowly become stupid in their eyes, and they have no reason to play graal.
